When the first edition of Mazda 3 hit the roads a few years back, I immediately fell in love with it. So much so, when the time came to have my company car replaced, I immediately called my car dealer friend and asked for a quotation of the latest Mazda 3.
My friend was so eager to sell me that day that he actually sent two units to my office for a test drive – Mazda 3 and a Mazda 9. So what happened next? After the test drive, it left me undecided. What used to be a fixation for Mazda 3, now suddenly wavered. I am now torn between two great cars. A choice between an “excellent value in luxury sedan, along with the power and responsiveness you'd expect from the world-famous, high-end models” that Mazda 3 delivers and the “roomy but more compact” Mazda 9 which is actually a “luxury crossover SUV aimed at family-oriented buyers,” like me, plus the boost on its class-leading safely ratings -whew, that is not an easy decision to make.
