When I started working, after my graduate studies (not long ago ^^), my first company-issued car was a 1997 Toyota Corolla GLI. It was the best seller that time among its class. It is sleek and boosts a powerful a 1.8-liter four-cylinder 16-valve engine under the hood that gives me a smooth cruise ride of 75 to 90 mph on the free way. As I can still recall, this beauty’s smooth ride is actually attributed to its all-independent suspension, MacPherson struts at all four corners. And with a relatively long wheelbase and its independent suspension, this car really offers good ride quality.

The Toyota Corolla model has evolved considerably in the last 10 years. Engines, cabins, and designs were now sportier. In fact, the 2009 Corolla XRS is more of a race car than your average sedan in its class. I so love taking this for a real spin in racetrack!
